Crazy Sporty Digger!

Check out how long, skinny, and low this sportster is? I'm liking the super narrow tank, mini-mirror, and the guy's WWII Naval deck jacket! Nice combination! (from a late 70s Supercycle Magazine)

Skinny Shovel!

Here's a nice example of a narrowed wideglide front end on a rigid Shovel! Diggin' the digger! (from an early 80s Easyrider Magazine)

CycleZombie's Art Show!

Crazy Tritons jacket art made out of a wetsuit I believe! The art show was loads of fun!!!

This surfboard cracked me up with its super funny images! Check out that cool BSA logo in the fin!

Harpoon pays homage to the Alphabet Man in this cool screened piece!

Molded tanks are so rad and this one was very well done with the peak up the middle!

Will's great panhead situated dead center at the show!

I love the extended pre-unit forks, the double z-bars, and the crazy headlights on Scotty's history bike.

Wild T-bone fabricated bars atop a pre-unit frontend with geniune Florida Cycle Supply pipes out back on Scotty's other unit Triumph.

Nifty Swingarm Pre-unit

Wow, this bike is a molded masterpiece and I especially like how the swingarm area has been smoothed and rounded and extended near the shock attach points with lead. Very nice! (article comes from a 1971 Choppers Magazine)

Suzuki 50cc Road Racers

How rad are these little Suzuki road race bikes? Its crazy how tiny and lightweight these little bikes appear to be. I'm sure it would be a blast to ride one around. (photos come from a 60s Cycle Magazine)

Homewrecker II - 45 Trike

Here's a nice little trike from the pages of a 1968 Cycle Guide Magazine!

Triumph Twin Engine Drag Bike from Ohio

Check out this cool Triumph Rigid Pre-unit Drag bike from Lucky's State of Ohio! (from a 1971 Choppers Magazine)

Mike Davis' 1954 Pre-unit Rigid Show Bike

This cycle is pretty amazing. Not only is this 1954 6T a one-year only distributor model (I stand corrected) with the long primary, but the finned timing cover is 100% genuine, not one of those CNC'd or cast repops going around (type in "Triumph Finned Timing Cover" in the search box and you'll see the same timing cover used on the bike with a Tiger on the tank). The Superior kickstand, contuoured drag seat, Flanders U-shaped risers, and WM0 Akront with 2.75 x 21 Avon Speedmaster tire are among the many notible parts; not to mention the John Edward's painted Wassell tank and chromed Amal carb (apparently head and barrels have been nickel plated)! This is definitely one of the nicest pre-units around! Its for sale too and my best guess is somewhere in the 15K range???. For more info and highly detailed photos please check out the owner's posting at http://www.bornlosermc.blogspot.com (pictures by Allen Hayden from link posted on Jockey Journal) To see a later post with a link to the Street Chopper feature article on this machine click HERE!

Vard Forks - Pre-Wideglide Coolness!!!

1968 Hells Angels Funeral Procession Photo

What a great shot of the Oakland Hells Angels in route to a funeral in 1968! (photo currently on Ebay!)

Way-Out Molded Instrument Cluster

Though you might only be able to run this set-up effectively where a mini gas tank is incorporated into the frame, it would be worth it for a drag or wild show bike. Indeed a great way to display the instrument cluster on this pan! (photo from a 1971 Choppers Magazine)

45 Harley Mild Custom

Its too bad to read this guy extended the springer as the bike would probably sit pretty level with a 21 up front or a mx 23"er! (from a 1971 Choppers Magazine, the large version)

Tightrope Cycle???

Check out these crazy tightrope photos from an Ebay lot with NSU, rider, and counterweight guy. I'm sure the drop is insane though we can't see the bottom. Great images! Some crazy shinagins! Oh, and I'm relieved the guys are thinking safety first with those crash helmets!

Happy Birthday Lucky!

Lucky as the BMX bandit at about age 15 I'm told. If you know Lucky and wish to celebrate with him feel free to come on out to the Avalon this Tuesday! Heck, he might even do a wheelie for you! DJ set by Harpoon and Grant, aka the Sultans of Sound!

Luck's a big Blonde fan so here's a great shot of her from around 1977!
